Key purpose: Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of the running of contracts. In particular, to supervise subcontractors carrying out access development, foundation upgrading and scaffolding works.

• Keeping a complete daily diary and reporting any delays or irregularities to his Site Engineer immediately. Attend site progress meetings.

• Hold weekly co-ordination meetings with subcontractors to ensure the safety of all personnel and members of the public. Report weekly progress to the Project Manager.
• Ensure that safe methods of work are employed on all sites and traffic management measures in place.
• Maintain site records for inclusion within the final record package to the client.
• Give Toolbox Talks and Induction Talks to site operatives.

To execute the contracts assigned in accordance with the agreed specification and requirements in the most cost-effective manner whilst complying with all current legislation/engineering standards and the company procedures.
