Our client a specialist services to the civil engineering and marine sectors require an Estimator to join their team within the Steel Fabrication Department.
Estimator - Structural steel/metalwork fabrication
We require an experienced estimator of medium to heavy fabricated assemblies and components.
Reporting to the Fabrication Department Manager you will be expected to prepare quotations from detailed drawings quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
You will also be supporting the Fabrication Department Manager from initial customer targeting through to bid completion, in order to develop new customers within the defined market sectors.
The successful candidate will have a background in engineering, particularly within structural fabrication and welding. It is essential that he/she has good communication skills, be computer literate and an excellent relationship builder
