Site Manager

SITE MANAGERS – Yorkshire
To £55,000 per annum plus car and benefits


We currently require a team of experienced Site Managers to work on our clients prestigious major refurbishment projects in Yorkshire


This is a key position working for our client, a major development company who specialize in the management, leasing, development, design, construction and funding of major shopping centres.


A Site based role you will be managing a £multi-million interior fit out and refurbishment projects from the construction stage. The role will require you to develop robust programs of works incorporating method statements, risk assessments and a detailed resource plan. You will then be managing teams of subcontractors on site ensuring that a number of project deliverables are achieved including time, budget, quality and safety. A varied role your experience of managing construction projects will be key to your success along with your ability to manage multi skilled engineering teams. Your relationship skills will also be important when dealing with client representatives at all levels. To be considered for the position you must have/be all of the following:

A minimum of 2 years Site Management or Project Management experience, delivering major interior fit out and refurbishment projects.
Experience of writing method statements and risk assessments.
Strong Commercial Acumen

Good knowledge of CDM Regulations

HR Advisor

Our client is one of the leading hazardous waste management companies in the UK they are looking to recruit a high calibre HR Advisor to cover sites in Sheffield, Great Yarmouth, Wakefield, Aberdeen & Peterhead, you must reside near one of these offices but be willing to travel to all of the above.
This role will give you a great challenge.
Qualifications/Experience
Degree qualified.
Preferably a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD).
Previous experience within a generalist HR Advisor role
A proven track record in delivering a professional HR service within a fast-paced operational environment
TUPE transfer experience or at least experience dealing with a unionised workforce.
Worked within a company with more than 100 employees

Role Function
In conjunction with the Senior HR Advisor, develop and recommend for approval policies
and programmes covering employment terms and conditions, labour relations,
communications, wage and salary administration, induction, training, employee benefits and
services. Thereafter implement and co-ordinate the approved recommendations and monitor
their effective application.
Provide leadership and guidance as part of the management team at all times and maintain good internal and external relationships with colleagues, advisers, customers, suppliers and partners.
You will be dealing with a range of staff blue collared and professional, communication skills are essential.
