Job Title: Facilities Manager
Duration Temporary – Permanent 2 months guaranteed temporary
Hours: Mon-Fri 8-16.30pm
Location: Plaistow/ Newham East London
Salary: £30-35k pro rata
Job Description: Our Client is currently looking for experienced Facilities Manager To provide a management lead in the provision of a total Facilities Management Service for the next two- three months on a temporary basis . Management, control and direction of all directly employed staff. Ensure the Smooth running of Hard & Soft Services for a large commercial building in Newham, East London.
Duties & Responsibilities
To operate and maintain management and reporting systems for
Facilities Management Services within the company, which
demonstrate management effectiveness of:
Manpower, Budgets, Stores, Operating performance of the department, Purchasing and Stock Control, Staffing Levels, Rotas, Catering provision.
Carry out the necessary works in line with the agreed service level specifications, within budget allocations.
Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, overseeing all contractors on site, administering the permit to work system all in line with the project agreement.
To control stock items and stock levels to an agreed level.
To take an active role in the development of Health and Safety.
Qualifications/ Experience required: Suitable candidates must have at least 3 years experience, must have good excel and computer knowledge a BIFM or equivalent is preferred but not essential
