An opportunity for a graduate or experienced graduate engineer. This specialist civil engineering contractor has developed its expertise and reputation over seventy years. The managing director is looking for graduate engineer who is interested in learning the commercial , managerial and practical aspects of the business with a view of taking a key role in assisting him running the business. The firm works as a main contractor and as a sub-contractor and carries out drainage, earthworks and civil works, tarmac surfacing and surface dressing . They own and operate their own plant and labour and work within the Kent, Sussex, Surrey , Essex and M25 area with much of their workload gravitating towards Kent.

These schemes will include residential and commercial buildings, roads, drainage and maritime schemes. You will be part of a small team reporting to the head of development and your position will enable you to gain experience in nearly every aspect of the design and construction process. This will include appointing and managing external consultants and contractors and supervising projects on site.
