Mechanical Project Engineer required, with a background in Aggregates or Cement an advantage
Requirement:
There is a list of upgrades that have been identified to improve the coal handling and clinker export at the site plus import at another local site. A Project Engineer with multi discipline experience is required for these sites, mostly mechanical but also civil and electrical elements being involved.
Time frame/ Location:
6 months initially, further time by negotiation. Derbyshire / Staffordshire.
Skills requirement:
1. Extensive construction and operational site experience preferably in Cement/Aggregates industry.
2. Mature personality with excellent written and oral communications skills.
3. HNC or equivalent mechanical/production engineering.
4. Project planning skills (Microsoft project)
5. CDM site supervision
Scope:
Under the direction of a Project Manager, produce and agree with stakeholders the Statements of Requirement, User Requirements and Functional Design Specifications. Having produced and agreed these compile tender documentation that is fit for purpose for the commercial department to take to the market.
Again under the direction of a Project Manager successfully project manage the implementation of approved projects to time and budget.
