My client is a reputable manufacturer based on the outskirts of Nottingham. Due to significant investments into the business and expansion of the manufacturing facilities they are currently looking for a site services technician to join their maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous upgrade of all site services; HVAC, refrigeration, boiler house, pumps, motors, compressors etc. Wherever possible equipment is fixed and repaired but in cases where the equipment is beyond repair, the technician will liaise with contractors & source replacement equipment / parts.
Applicants should have a sound knowledge and understanding of effective operation and maintenance of site services plant, equipment and systems, including HVAC, water systems, compressed air, boiler plant, utilities supply, CMMS.

Roles
The many projects under execution include Oil & Gas, Marine, Buildings, Roads & Infrastructure, and Pipelines. As a result, Qatar Petroleum require dedicated Pipeline Engineers, either from an Oil & Gas or Petrochemical background to help meet the challenges presented by our workload.
Requirements
Qatar Petroleum are seeking Pipeline Engineers with a minimum of 10 years experience in Oil & Gas industry. Successful candidates will need to be highly motivated individuals with excellent technical, communication and organizational skills to deal with a demanding, complex, and geographically diverse workload. They will need to have proven expertise in at least one of following:
Design, construction, commissioning, start-up and trouble-shooting of Oil & Gas transportation pipelines and process terminals
Onshore cross-country and gathering pipelines
Pipeline SCADA / pipeline management and leak detection systems
Previous work experience in the Arabian Gulf countries will be considered as an advantage.
